Angela Brooks – Designer

A graduate of Interior Design, Angela has had a lifelong passion for art and design, as well as a talent for photography which she has grown into a successful business she’s operated for over 18 years. Never losing sight of her Interior Design background, Angela started working with YouNique first as an architectural photographer and shortly thereafter joined the design team.

Angela strongly believes that communication is a critical factor in designing any space and partners with clients to make the process of designing their kitchen or bathroom an enjoyable one. She brings her distinct skill of marrying form with function – ensuring the design increases efficiency and productivity in the space, complements the client’s lifestyle, and brings to life the dream spaces they have always envisioned.
Design Influences…

Angela doesn’t stick to just one or two design styles, she finds all of them inspiring and has discovered it most often is informed by the client and the creative collaboration that takes place during the design process. Currently she’s enjoying the “rustic-glam” look, blending old textures with fresh, modern, clean lines and hints of bling. She finds the transitional style also looks great with so many different options, then French country, English country, mid-century modern, industrial…well, you see what we mean!

A bit more about Angela…

Angela lives in Cobourg with her husband of 20 years and her two amazing daughters. She is a vocalist in a local band with her husband, loves to paint and draw and when she’s not doing that, she’s swimming, biking, playing tennis or badminton, snowshoeing, cross country skiing or hiking – basically getting out there to soak up all of what nature has to offer!
